1. The application form is for new
applicants or former exhibitors, who
have not participated in
The Cotton Pickin’ Fair, in the past year. Current
exhibitors in good standing receive an
invitation/contract
two weeks after each
edition of the Fair.
2. Submit application by: March 1
when applying for the May Fair
August 1 when applying
for the October Fair
3. Provide 3 photographs of your work, 1
of work in progress, and 1 of your
display. Photos are non-returnable.
4. Exhibit items must be handmade by the
applicant and applicant is required to
be present. Commercial crafts or crafts
originating from kits are not
acceptable. 5. Exhibit original art with
no
more than 50% of booth composed of prints.
6. Crafts
or reproductions are not permitted
in antique applications. 7. Exhibitors are limited to
one
medium.

RESPONSE: Applications will be juried on a
monthly basis. Applicants will
receive a prompt response from
the jurying committee concerning
their status for an upcoming
festival. Depending on when we
receive your application, we may be
delayed in knowing whether we
have a vacancy in your category,
so please be patient with us. |

EXHIBITORS: The Cotton Pickin' Fair is
limited to 300 exhibitors.
Invitations are first sent to
all exhibitors in good standing, who attended our most
recent festival. After their
deadline has passed, invitations
are sent to perspective exhibitors, who
in our opinion, will best add
creativity, uniqueness,
originality, and balance to The Cotton Pickin'
Fair. |

FEES: Do not send money at this time.
There are no jurying or
commission fees. |

LOCATION: The Cotton Pickin' Fair is
located in the little town of
Gay, Georgia, 39 miles south of
the Atlanta Airport
and 50 miles north of
Columbus on the eastern side of
GA Hwy 85. |

FAIR DATE: The Fair is a semi-annual event
held the first weekend in May
and October, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
on Saturday and Sunday.

SITE: The Cotton Pickin'
Fair is held in historic
Gay, GA, where the Gay family's
1891 Victorian home, the cotton
gin and warehouse, the peach
packing shed, and the 1911
general store anchor the grassy
eight (8) acre venue.
Five (5)
additional old farm buildings
and a series of sheds also
provide covered exhibition
space. |

BOOTHS: The
Cotton Pickin' Fair has an
assortment of 10' by 10' booth
spaces located in and around our buildings.
Some booths do have
access to electricity. Booths
are priced according to size and
amenities;
fees range from $175-
$250 for a single booth. Double
booths are also available.
